FUTURE STUDENTS
For students interested in doing a PhD in psychology at PM Lab with S. Monette:
Please visit the website and the following documents to get a better idea of the topics/themes/research tools specific to the Lab.
S. Monette is an associate professor at UQAM, UdeS and UdeM, which means that;
a) UQAM: I can only co-direct Psy.D. or Ph.D-Psy.D., and I cannot lead solo (or as a senior director). So I have to wait for one of my colleagues (regular teacher) to invite me to co-lead a student, so I can’t accept a student.
b) Université de Sherbrooke (Longueuil campus): I can lead solo (or as principal) Psy.D., but not Ph.D.-Psy.D. (for the latter, I can only be co-director, so a colleague professor must invite me to co-supervise). The student must first be accepted for the PhD and then choose a thesis supervisor.
c) Université de Montréal I can lead solo (or as principal) Psy.D. and Ph.D.-Psy.D. (Ph.D. R-I). The student must first be accepted for the PhD and then choose a thesis supervisor.
