Maude earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with honours from UQÀM and is presently working towards a doctoral degree in psychology (scientific-professional program, PhD/PsyD) under the co-supervision of Sébastien Monette and Chantal Cyr. Her doctoral thesis concerns : 1) the validation of the RAD and DSED Assessment (RADA) Interview, an instrument designed to assess reactive attachment disorder (RAD) and disinhibited social engagement disorder (DSED) and, 2) a meta-analysis of RAD and DSED prevalence.

Alycia completed her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at UQÀM and is now pursuing a doctoral degree in psychology (scientific-professional program, PhD/PsyD) under the co-supervision of Sébastien Monette and Chantal Cyr. Her research interests focus on children in CPS care and how to measure maltreatment. Through her doctoral thesis project, she plans to examine rates of maltreatment using two methods (administrative data vs. coding of narrative reports of CPS workers with the standardized grid EMMCS) and to verify the presence of maltreatment experience profiles (Latent Profile Analysis) in a sample of children in out-of-home care.
Rosalie Guillemette

Rosalie received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UdS and is now working to obtain a doctoral degree in psychology (scientific-professional program, PhD/PsyD) under the co-supervision ofMiguel M. Terradas and Sébastien Monette. Her doctoral thesis centres on comparing the symptoms of attachment disorders and the insecure/disorganized attachment styles across three groups of children (children from the general population, children in out-of-home care, and children from a clinical population) and the links between attachment insecurity/disorganization and: internalized/externalized behaviors and symptoms of attachment disorders.

Melly Girardin

Melly completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at UdeM and is now pursuing a doctoral degree in psychology (professional profile, Psy.D.) co-directed by Marie-Julie Béliveau and Sébastien Monette. Her doctoral dissertation will focus on the links between the symptoms of attachment disorders (reactive attachment disorder, RAD and disinhibited social engagement disorder, DSED) and variables/scores on the Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS) in children involved in child protective services (CPS).

Lory Zephyr

Ph.D.
Dr. Lory Zephyr, Ph.D., completed her doctorate at UQAM under the supervision of Chantal Cyr and Sebastien Monette. Her thesis articles focused on 1) predictors of disinhibited social engagement behavior in vulnerable children and 2) a meta-analysis on the association between disinhibited social engagement behavior and disorganized attachment. She is now a psychologist specializing in maternal mental health, attachment, and perinatality. She practices at the Clinique de psychologie de l’Est. She is also the author of the books “Maman en Construction” (Éditions de l’Homme, 2018), “Ça va, maman?” (Éditions de l’Homme, 2021), and “Le deuil invisible” (Éditions de l’Homme, 2022).
